Rustic Northern Liberties home gives off serious farmhouse vibes for $515K

What do you get when you cross an iconic Philly style—the trinity home—with a rustic New England farmhouse?

It’s certainly an unusual pairing but if there’s one perfect answer it’s probably this Northern Liberties 3-bed that just came on the market for $515,000.

The home offers 1,200 square feet of space, two-car parking, and one bathroom, and it sits on North Lawrence Street, just a 10 minute walk from the MFL’s Spring Garden stop.

And while that’s all a bonus, the key draw behind the space is its rustic style. The 1850s-built home has been renovated to celebrate many of its original details, including the brickwork, original wood plank floors, and original 19th-century fireplaces.

On the first floor, the walls have been finished with American clay, a natural plaster, which complements the wood trim on the windows and exposed beams in the kitchen, giving the whole house that farmhouse vibe.

That style continues upstairs, with more exposed wood trim and walls, especially in the bathroom, where the repurposed cedar walls make it feel more like a cabin in the woods than a trinity in NoLibs. (Also, who doesn’t love a good claw foot tub?)

It’s been nearly a decade since the home last went on the market and sold for $225,000 in 2010.
